So, Ive spent most of the day writing my next to last paper for English and just having a rough time doing it. So I perked RIGHT up when my mail was delivered because THIS was in it!

Look how awesome this is! Its green/blue/yellow glitter, and its now out of production. I have it on my nails right now because I just COULD. NOT. WAIT. Its just one coat, so its kinda rough, but its AWESOME. NO one is gonna be able to see MY perceived messups, so Im just gonna roll with it and work this awesome polish.

Hopefull this is the end of my mad decision making skills for holiday manis. Ruby Pumps from last night with a layer of Pretty and Polished Freedom Calling. YAY!

Fourth of July nails!

So yesterday inbetween all the writing for my 4th paper for English, and the reading for Psychology, I played with a 4th of July manicure. While the idea is nice, the execution needs something. It felt thick and gloopy to me. And I wasnt 100% happy with my stamping techniques. :-( I used Orly T2B base/top coat, Pure Ice in some white that came with a purple crackle, Chi in Red Hot Texas Chi-Li, and Pure Ice in French Kiss. With a layer of OPI I Juggle...Men over it.

So then last night while watching an episode of Bridzillas on Netflix because I was trying to bore myself to sleep, I redid my nails. A lovely friend sent me some China Glaze Nail Lacquer in Ruby Pumps and I LOVE it. I used a pretty nail sticker on my ring fingers just because I could. This mani may stay till tonight when I work out another one for the 4th tomorrow. Pardon the pink star, I have an ugly boo boo on my finger there.

OK I finally got a mani down. Im in love with it, but Im HATING my FINGERS. Im working on getting them cleaned up and pretty, its just hard with everything else. Anyhoo...this is one coat of Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in Blue Me Away, with 2 coats of Pretty & Polished Sand Art. Of course a top coat, and I need to practice clean up of course, but I LOVE the sparkles in this glitter. I think it would look great over a yellow, or green, or even pink polish. Thats how much I LOVE it. Im really sad I only bought a mini. :-(

I think Im getting WAY better at the gap mani thing that I saw someone do on youtube. That gap was NOT made by cleanup. Hopefully I can keep this one alive till I do my 4th of July mani with P&P's Freedom Calling.

So, I finished up a mani the other day before I started the outline to my latest English paper. I was gonna share, but I got sidetracked by watching Teen Wolf. HELLO DEREK. So here I am now with the pics of it. Its a pretty neat pink and green mani. Essie Poppy-Razzi with OPI Shatter the Scales. I was trying to use the China Glaze neon pink that I had, but it felt too heavy on my fingers, so off it went! I know my pics are kinda small, but Im still learning the ins and outs of the photo sizing stuff. Its amazing that a picture I take on my iPhone can be so frigging BIG when I transfer it to edit! CRAZY!

Im not sure what kind of mani I want next. I broke a nail today, and that made me mad. Plus I have to finish the paper for English, take a Psych quiz, and lots of other crap.
